The concept of merienda-cena (high tea in the English speaking world) was brought in to Philippines by the Spanish in the 16th Century.
The Hacienderos, the landed nobility, would sit on their hacienda (farming estate) and spend the whole afternoon gossiping (chismis) while enjoying their hot chocolate, local pastries and sweets.
Merienda-cena at Boon Chocolates will symbolise our celebration for the rich cultural fabric that characterised the fusion of Eastern and Western culture.
Phone 02-9356 8876 for bookings. Price: $40 Per Person (Extra 10% surcharge on Sunday and public holiday).
